Introducing Salty Squares from FreeSpirit
I’ve been keeping some exciting news under wraps: I’m joining FreeSpirit Fabrics as a designer! My first collection, Salty Squares, arrives in quilt shops in April 2027.
If you’ve spent time with us in the studio or at a quilt show, you probably know how much I like fabric with something to say. This collection brings that idea to yardage, with sayings about sewing, coffee, wine, cats, and dogs—plus coordinating prints full of hand-drawn marks and salty hippos.
The saying panels include both 5″ and 10″ squares, giving you a couple of sizes to play with. Make one the center of a pillow, stitch it into a bag, or piece it into a quilt. The coordinating fabrics include hearts, hippos, Guinea Dots, and Broken Crossed Lines.
