Studio Shop Hours Start Sept 3rd!

Displays have been crafted—the fabric has been printed and hung with care.

In anticipation that the shoppers are near!

Each year, as August draws to a close, there's a certain magic in the studio air—I find myself feeling like we are about to have our own little Christmas celebration.

First, through the spring and summer, I've been drawing and printing, then Shop Manager Jan and I have been busy displaying all of our new designs. With each visitor who steps through our door in the next two months, it feels like you are unwrapping our gift that we so hope brings you joy and inspiration.

If you haven't been to the studio before, you're in for a delightful surprise! This year we are celebrating a momentus occasion—our building's 130th birthday. And this milestone has deeply influenced several of our new designs.

But that’s not all—our excitement is boundless as we embark on an ambitious portrait project, one that can only come to life with your participation. We’re calling on all quilters of Missouri to join us and be part of this special endeavor.

As if that weren’t thrilling enough, we’re unveiling our latest creation: the Quilt Tattoo™. Words can hardly convey how excited I am about this new venture; it truly feels like Christmas morning, getting to share this innovative ‘toy’ with all of you!

Every print you see is designed by yours truly and hand-printed right here in our store. Unlike the more traditional fabric selections you might find elsewhere, our offerings are distinctly our own. For those participating in the All Missouri Shop Hop, this may come as a delightful surprise! And fear not—if you’re seeking more traditional quilting fabrics, our neighboring shop, Cuts and Bolts, is just a quick five-minute drive away and also part of the Hop.

Our hours for September and October are:

M–F: 9:30a–5p
Sa: 9:30–2p

After that, we'll be closing up for the season, but keep an eye out—our next adventure takes us to Arizona for Quilt Con.. but that's a post for another day : )

Until then, happy quilting, and we can’t wait to welcome you into our world.

—Amy
